Standard Pre-Purchase or Pre-Listing Home Inspection
A professional home inspection provided by HomePro will walk you through your prospective new home or cottage.
A professional home inspection will ensure that you have a complete understanding of the operation of all components that are within the makeup of the building. While our main objective is to bring any major concerns that are uncovered to your attention, all concerns are documented within the HomeBook Report which you will receive at the end of the inspection.
A Standard Home Inspection provided by HomePro Inspections will fully document any major and/or minor concerns of the building. This will include any applicable maintenance that may be required for the home or cottage. The home inspection will cover the eight major systems of the home:
- Structure
- Electrical
- Heating and Air Conditioning
- Plumbing
- Basement / Crawlspace
- Kitchen
- Interior
- Exterior
The standard home inspection also includes one attached or detached single storey garage and the inspection of any Above Ground Oil Tank.
You will be encouraged to accompany your home inspector for the duration of the home inspection and ask any questions that you may have. Standard home inspections will vary in duration depending on the amount of questions you may have, but are generally completed in approximately 3 hours. You will be provided with the HomeBook Inspection Report upon completion of the inspection.
Our inspection agreement, expectation & clarification as well as the S.O.P. clearly defines the scope of the work, as well as limitations of the inspection. This agreement can be viewed prior to the inspection.
