W.E.T.T. Inspections

Understanding Your Wood Burning Appliance

Wood Energy Technology Transfer (W.E.T.T.) is the authority on all solid fuel burning appliances in Canada.
The Canadian Standards Authority (CSA) recognises the Standard B365 as the guidelines to ensure the safe and proper installation of all wood stoves, pellet stoves, corn stoves, factory built fire places, combination furnaces and add-on furnaces

A W.E.T.T. inspection will verify integrity of the appliance, CSA certification (or not), proper installation, proper venting, correct chimney type and installation, stove location with respect to combustible materials, as well as an understanding of use and performance of your wood burning appliance.

First of all, thank you so much for everything you did for us on Saturday. Your service and knowledge are fantastic. At this point, it appears you will have us as new neighbours... I know, I know, there goes the neighbourhood!

Just a quick note to thank Mike for all the professional insight he provided us during the inspection last week. Extremely informative. Mike was a real pro. I will certainly recommend your services to anyone given the opportunity.
